Religious ed started today… :smile. I teach a third grade class. Today was kind of fun… I have a very interesting class. Nine students total, two girls. I have the younger brother of a boy I taught last year. (last year I taught 4th grade this year I teach 3rd) The two boys I am referring to are very unique. They would typically just be labeled trouble makers… but I know that they have a lot of problems at home which cause them to act out like they do. The sad part of it is that these boys are both extremely intelligent. Even though they are always goofing off and never seem to be paying attention, either one knows the answer to any question you ask them… That is one of the hardest parts about being a teacher… seeing situations that you can’t do anything about… Overall we had a great morning though. I took pictures of all the kids because next week are making Disciple ID cards… (Kinda like a drivers lisence) I would post pictures but I need parental approval to make public a picture that their child posed for which shows their face… So to avoid a legal battle for now I won’t post any… but maybe someday I can get some of them doing an activity or something. (As long as they don’t pose and faces aren’t the focal point it’s legal) Well off to a party at a friends for free food. :smile
Yaaayyyy!! Free food! Woohoo! :lol
{{Deb}} You are a very special person to be able to teach. I quit teaching for the very reasons that you stated in this post. My heart was broken too many times over kids that I loved and couldn’t help. :sad
