10. Thought-provoking question of the week: You are a contributing member of your favorite art museum, and visit on a regular basis. They announce a new, temporary special exhibit by an artist surrounded by controversy…this person’s work and/or political views offend you. Do you stop supporting the museum, or just stay away during the time the exhibit is there?
Art is on of those things that not all people can agree on all of the time… There are always going to be thigs people find offensive that others don’t… I wouldn’t want to be the one to say that other people can’t see this just because I don’t want to. I would just stay away while that exhibit is there…

Dreaming the night away….

I’m not sure if this makes any direct political statements… I don’t mean it to… It is just an amusing dream I had…

So early this morning between slaps of the “sleep” button… I had a dream of what will happen after the war with Iraq is over… The United States, Britain and some other country would begin the new reality show “Iraqi President” They would ask all Iraqi men who wanted to be president to show up for an open audition at which George, Tony and some other guy tell them that they suck or tell them that they are going on to the next round… In the next round the contestants had to show up with what they thought should be a rough draft of a new Iraqi constitution… the judges read the submissions and then narrowed it down to like 15 men… The beginning of the next round, in which the people of the United States, Britain and some other country get to vote on who would make the best Iraqi President, was about to begin when I woke up… :smile

Can we tell that I am addicted to reality TV??????

I’m Alive, Awake, Alert, Enthusiastic…

Well I’m alive… technically awake… not very alert or enthusiastic unfortunatly… :smile Ohwell! Today is the first day back at school… ugh… It was a wonderful week full of sun, sand and relaxing… but now it is back to work and homework… Speaking of which I need to be sure to pick up my hours this week… so I know when I am working!

My friend came over yesterday and we worked on one of out big projects that is due Wednesday… we got a lot done and I feel better. My friend is one of the people who went with me to Florida but we didn’t bring any of the stuff we would need to work on our project so we were both freaking out a little about the amount of stuff we had to get done in such a short amount of time. The professor that this is for is a real jerk about grading… he takes off points for things that he didn’t ask to be in the project… but he thinks should be part of the project… Grrrrr…

I also had to write a Math and English lesson plan for today… I am mostly done with the Math one and I will write the English one during my time off from 1-4… Talk about procrastinating.. right? But I actually feel pretty good about what I do and don’t have done so far… :smile

Well anyway… Hope everyone has a good start to another week…

I’m Baaack….

Wow… Driving for 24 hours straight is intense!!! But we managed to make it all the way there and all the way back and never get lost!!!! I was surprised by that! It is great to be home. Florida was wondeful, but I missed being home… it is much more comfortable… :) I am glad to see my blog was well taken care of while I was gone, now if only i could figure out how to get my old banner back… :) Feeny and Tigger seemed confused by me when I first came home, but I think they are over it now.. :) Well I have a busy school week ahead so that’s it for now… but I will try to post some pictures when I get around to getting them up somewhere… :)

Friday Five

Time for the Friday Five! Tigger’s going to help me out, his comments will be prefaced by “Tigger:” (kinda makes sense, doesn’t it?)

1. If you had the chance to meet someone you’ve never met, from the past or present, who would it be?

Tigger: Somebody who’ll pay attention to me… I need attention…
You’ve gotten plenty of attention today. Anyway, I’d say the guy on Planet’s Funnist Animals, so I could beat him up… he’s ANNOYING!

2. If you had to live in a different century, past or future, which would it be?

In the past! Ancient Egypt! Woo-hoo!
Tigger: Anytime, as long as someone will love me…
Pathetic, Tigger… pathetic…

3. If you had to move anywhere else on Earth, where would it be?

Combined with the last question, Egypt!
Tigger: Jason’s lap… if he’ll pick me up…

4. If you had to be a fictional character, who would it be?

Maybe Sherlock Holmes. I’m smart like him…
Tigger: Could I be your Dr. Watson?
No.
Tigger: *sniff* *sniff*….. wah!
Oh, fine. Be my Dr. Watson.

5. If you had to live with having someone else’s face as your own for the rest of your life, whose would it be?

NOT Tigger’s! Probably Sebastian… nobody would notice a difference! :)
Tigger: Tony the Tiger.
Why Tony the Tiger?
Tigger: Nobody would notice…
*rolls eyes* Sure, Tigger…

Another meme-less day…

I bet you’re all terribly sad this meme-a-day thing is falling through. We’ve just not been at the computer much recently. But we’ll be back with the Friday Five tomorrow, you can count on that!
