10. Thought-provoking question of the week: The city of Boston has recently banned smoking in all restaurants and bars. Would you want to see such a law passed in your city/town/country, or not?
It is happening a lot around here already…. Since I am not a smoker I don’t mind. But I see how it would upset smokers. But I am just happy that I don’t have to breathe it in or smell like it….

Sad :(

A few days ago I was reading blogs, and no one on my blogroll had updated so I decided to check out a few other people’s blogroll. I clicked on a link at Robyn’s, which led me to the story of Miller. It statred about 20 days ago… Angel’s cat Miller went outside and hasn’t returned… I have been checking back every now and then for updates… He still hasn’t turned up. It is soooo sad. I don’t know what I would do if it happened to my babies.

Weekend Over Already????

Well you may notice things look a little different around here…. Jason was sweet enough to give my blog a little update… That is Tigger in the corner, keeping watch over what I do… :) A little darker than any previous version of deblog, but I think that is what makes it seem so fresh… and it isn’t depressing dark… so anyway what I am saying is that I LOVE the new look and I hope you all do too.

I had a wonderful weekend. It was great to finally have some time off and not need to worry about what I didn’t have done for school. Friday night Jason and I went to a surprise birthday party for one of his friends. It was a lot of fun. We went to dinner and then saw the Matrix. I don’t have strong feelings in any direction about the Matrix. I think it would have been better had I actually remembered the first one… but I think I slept through most of it. I think that the fighting is pretty… yes that’s right… pretty… it is like a coreographed dance… so I enjoyed that, even though I typically hate movies with a lot of fighting.

On Saturday we got to go to something called Pop Concert that Jason’s old high school does every year. His brother was in it, and did a great job as usual.

And Sunday was my lazy lazy lazy day, I went to church in the morning and that was about it. I am done teaching Sunday school now so I don’t have to get up super early on Sunday’s anymore!!! Yeah!!!!!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend and will have a great start to next week!!!

Saturday

1. Your minister is forced to retire because he’s been convicted of committing rape 26 years ago. You’re invited to the retirement party. Do you go?
This is a hard one. Rape is one of those things that is so hard to forgive… yet it was 26 years ago… I guess it would depend on my relationship with him, if he kinda always creeped me out anyway or something than no I wouldn’t go. But if he seemed as if it was a genuine mistake he made and was always a really great person as far as I knew… I might make an appearance…

2. You’re a clerical worker. A new employee, a single mother, reads poorly and needs your help to do her job. Do you continue helping?
I continue to help her learn to do her job… yes… eventually she won’t need help. Heck I invite her over a few times for some help with reading. Adult illiteracy is really sad and I would love to help out in anyway possible. If she wasn’t willing to learn I would stop helping though.

3. You hit it off with someone in a dark lounge and make a date. Before leaving, s/he asks for help getting into a wheelchair. Do you pursue the relationship?
Yeah, I don’t think it shoud matter. Maybe I can sit on their lap and get a free ride out to my car!!! :)

Friday Five

1. What drinking water do you prefer — tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
We have a purifier on the tap water… I put it in a bottle and refrig it…. num num

2. What are your favorite flavor of chips?
I guess sour cream and onion… I’m not a big chip person, too salty…

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
French toast… it is super easy but super good…. I guess spaghetti might tie with it though…

4. How do you have your eggs?
If I have toast to wipe up the yolk I have over easy… otherwise scrambled.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
Jason, nummy nummy as usual…
