Well as Gnomedex day (as declared by the mayor type person) is coming to a close with a big celebration… it is great fun… 
Google and Microsoft both provided plenty of free drinks…. not that I want beer…
Tomorrow we get to drive home… oh fun… well at least it is only six hours…
I definately want to do this again next year… assuming it doesn’t conflict with wedding stuff…
Gnomedex continues… we went to the Microsoft party last night… it was fun… but thanks to people who left the movies early we weren’t able to win a prize… But I guess that’s life… we probably would have only won a dvd or book anyway…
I didn’t win Ms. Gnomedex… but it was fun trying…
Oh and for those who came here from a link at someone’s site…. referring to a quote of some un-named Gnomedexer…. I am just going to say that you must realize I tend to make up words when I can’t find the words I am looking for… and sometimes those made up words turn out to be real…
Well the first half of day one is over… it’s been lots of fun so far… you can keep really updated by watching J’s blog… He is posting pics of almost every speaker… Ooooh and I won a door prize… it is two really cool programs…. Snag it and Camtasia Studio… I am not too familiar with either program but from what I have read they seem really cool. Maybe J will post a pic of me with my prize… Hope everyone else is having fun…
I am sitting on the floor of the convention center… wirelessly hooked up to a very fast internet connection… fun. Not a lot of things on the trade floor… but maybe there will be more as the day goes one… J is posting pics regulary so keep checking him…
…to Gnomedex I have gone…. Yippy…. I am here… after a mere six hours of driving we have arrived…
Well now that I am finally settling down after vacation it is time to leave again… but this time for a much shorter period of time… and to Gnomedex!!!! We leave tomorrow and get back Sunday!!!
Jason’s family just got a new kitty. We made an emergency trip yesterday to visit him… He is absolutley adorable. His name is Digby, he is named after a city that is near the place we stay in Nova Scotia… I think it makes an adorable kitty name. You can see a picture of him and tales of him at Jason’s mom’s blog… Maybe someday Digby will join Feeny…
Other than that nothing is new here… I have been enjoying the last few days… finally made some time to clean my room… I have a floor… Too bad it is a horrible color, I think it was better covered in clothes…
Oh yeah… I promised pics from vacation… Jason is a little slow at posting them.. but his dad and mom have posted a few… If you go to the Brier Island website you will be able to see where most of these things are… and even some more pictures… (but the person who made the site is obsessed with flash so be sure your browser is compatible)
