I’m Here!!!

Wow… it’s getting pretty close to two weeks without a post… ahhhh Well it is the last two weeks of summer so I have been trying to enjoy them (by doing nothing) as much as possible. However, my work schedule has not allowed me to do that very much… you see today is the second to last day of he** week…. I work at a retail store… ShopKo to be specific… and the full time person in my department is gone this week. So last wekk my boss asks if I want a few more hours…. seeing as how I normally have only about 15 I thought sure 20 or 25 would be nice $ before school starts…. he calls me the next day and says, “Is 37.5 too much.” I was kind of speechless and said, ummm no…. So yes it is my own fault, but still… it sucks. I worked 9-5 Monday Tuesday and Thursday. Today I work 9-5 and tomorrow I work 4-midnight. I think the 4-12 shift will be the worse…. but wow will my paycheck be beautiful!!!!

On a different note…. I got my school books…. I had $113 worth of them that I had to buy… Our school does text rental so we only need to buy certain ones…. Having to buy a $113 worth really stinks…. Buy hopefully they will be useful…. Only a few more days until the first day… HELP!!!!!!!!!

Sunday Morning

It seems a lot of bloggers take Sunday off… I keep checking my blogroll and it just sits there… then I realized I don’t post a lot (at all more or less on Sunday’s) So I would break the stillness of the blogroll and post. I think this will be a rambling post.

Two weeks until school starts. It will be my last year. How I managed to be an elementary ed major and make it out in four years is still a mystery, but I am glad I was able to… I am a little scared about going into my last year. During the first semester I have to do something called Block III, which is basically boot camp for elementary ed majors… The first half the semester I spend going to class from practically 8-5 every day and the second half the semester I spend in schools from practically 8-5 every day. This means that I need to build a professional wardrobe… no more jeans or pajama bottoms everyday… I bought my first really nice professional outfit the other day… It was $85 for a skirt, tank top and blouse. The blouse and tank top can be used with other bottoms just as the skirt could be used with other tops… I hope to build a nice mix and matchable wardrobe to save money and make variety available.

We are also in the home stretch for the wedding now… That means a lot of things need to get done… I have the church, hall, meal, dj, photographer…. But I really need to get started on invitations, flowers, transportation, clothing, rings…. I want to have most of the big things done before Jason goes to Germany… so that he can have some input about things if he wants… not that he seems like he wants to most of the time, but still.

So those are the things on my mind for the next few weeks… Sounds fun doesn’t it? :)

Friday!!!

1. How much time do you spend online each day?
24 hours… gotta love cable connection… But me personally sitting here… probably an average of 3 or so….

2. What is your browser homepage set to?

http://deb.verberweb.com

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?
Trillian… but I don’t really like chatting online anymore…

4. Where was your first webpage located?
It was an AOL page… I think it was called hometown AOL or something… and the address was something like hometown.aol.com/DebAnn18 or some other strange thing….

5. How long have you had your current website?
It will be one year on the 28th of this month…

Less than a year…

Yesterday was mine and Jason’s negative one year anniversary… that means less than a year until the wedding… and we still don’t have a complete guest list… maybe we should get started… :)

Randomness…

Kim does this once and a while at her site… and it gave me the idea… tonight I wrote a letter than will never be sent… it was kind of catharthic… I would post it here except the person who it will never be sent to reads this blog… sometimes… I think… sometimes I think I could post it here and they would never know… I also did an IM away message that will never be activated…

This whole “do something that never will…” could be addictive….

Shining Happy People

I don’t think I have ever had such a morning on the web… going around and reading blogs today has literaly made me GIDDY… true it isn’t hard to make me giddy… but I am almost at the happy tears bounce in my seat giddyness (sp?)…

Robyn and Todd have announced that they will be have a baby… I find it so hard to see such loving and amazing couples unable to have a baby… and after last year they deserve this so much… They are soooooo blessed!!

Maria looks like she is going to have a sunny happy Monday… which is cool because Mondays normally suck, but if you start out with an attitude like that it can’t go wrong!!!

Christine ordered a kitty pancake ring, which just happened to come with a perfect pancake maker she didn’t want… and I get it…. :) Christine is always so giving when it comes to things like that… she even offered to pay shipping… but I won’t let her!!!!!

Yippy… happy happy… joy joy… the web is happy and so am I!!!
