I joined Orkut.com… so if anyone wants to join and become my friend just let me know…

Well Valentine’s Day was fun…. I got all dressed up to go out to an expensive restaurant with a friend… $60 later we were full and read for some chick flicks and ice cream… My friend has a roomate whose boyfriend broke up with her on Valentine’s Day we invited her over to join the ice cream frenzy… And a few drinks… It was fun…

Jason is safe in Germany… I have talked to him a few times on phone/instant message… They lost some of his luggage at first but it is all found now and he sounds like he is having fun. Which is good…

Tomorrow is back to work for me… ahhh… I am looking forward to spring break… even though I’m not sure how restful and relaxing flying to Germany will be…

Jason flew out to Germany today… it will be a little over a month until I can go and see him in Germany… then it will be another 2 and a half months until he gets home again… I’m not sure it’s sunk in yet… we have been apart for a week at a time and that usually doesn’t bother me… so it might not sink in for up to a week…. and by then the countdown to going and seeing him will be well under way…

Before he left he gave me my valentine’s gift… you see as of tomorrow (February 14th) it is exactly six months until our wedding… so it really kinda sucks that he flew out the day before… but that’s life… Anyway… he bought me a star… in my future name… the name I will have in six months… I thought it was incredibly sweet and thoughtful… and he said that now he can look up at me while he is in Germany…. What a cornball… but I love him anyway!

In other news… what else would a girl do the day before Valentine’s day when her fiancee just flew to Germany… I ran out to WalMart late at night and bought all sorts of pampering stuff and new sheets for my bed…. took a long bath with bath salts and did a face mask… ahhhhhhhhhhh I feel good!!!!!!!!!

And last but not least I will be celebrating Valentine’s day with a great friend whose man is in Iraq, we are going out to eat at an expensive restaurant then having ice cream, wine, wine coolers and chick flicks at my place….

ok people… I don’t like my blog to be work… first Christine changed her blog address… then Maria… Ok I can deal with changing two blogrolls and two buttons… but now Jason and Aaron… come on!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will take at least 10 minutes at some time…. You people just need to learn to be happy where you are at…. Just kidding, I love you all…. but seriously… I hate changing links…

about being a resource teacher (those who pull students out) is that if one of your students is gone all the sudden you have a bunch of time off… that is what just happened to me… The student I am supposed to be working with is gone today and the class I am supposed to go to next has been pushed back an hour, so I now have an hour and a half all to myself to work, plan and be lazy… ah… this is the life…

In more sad news… today marks one week until Jason is gone… wah……
