I just booked a flight for my mom and sister to come visit Jul 5th-7th…. I need to get this place cleaned…..

Wow two long posts in one day….

After watching a lot of TV today I came up with some things I just don’t understand about people…

-Wives/Girlfriends who can’t trust their husband/boyfriend to be apart from them for more than a minute….

I have seen this phenomonon in real life as well and it has always kind of bothered me…. First off all if you can’t trust your spouse to conduct themselves apropiatly while you aren’t around than you have a problem… and second of all if you and/or your spouse can’t enjoy yourself or have a good time without the other you have a problem… J and I are together ALOT… and I love it… I never don’t want to be with him… but if a friend invited me on a trip… i accept… and if he needs to leave the country to research… I don’t feel the need waste money so I can sit there and watch him read and study…. I think this really boils down to a trust issue…. and it is sad if you don’t have that amount of trust in your relationship…

-Brides who are SCARED before the wedding….

I can understand being nervous about something going wrong… or maybe even scared of something going wrong… but it seems many brides are actually scared of getting married… When I walked down that isle I was confident that I was doing the right thing and that I was beginning my life with Jason…. On that day the only thing that mattered to me was getting married….

-Brides who focus so much on the wedding day…

Yes the wedding day is important… it is a great symbol of two people starting their life together… but as I heard one maid of honor say…. “I hope this isn’t the best day of your life… I hope that each day gets better from now on…” I can understand not wanting the day to be a total flop… but will it really matter if one bridesmaid has the wrong style hair or nail polish… seriously… I jus don’t get it!

-People who think that since I still am Catholic I support/don’t care about the mistakes of the Church…..

The reason I am Catholic is because of all the religions… my personal beliefs match best with those of the Catholic Church… This does not mean I believe everything the Catholic Church believes…. but I believe in a greater % of the Catholic Church’s teachings than any other church if that makes sense…. The Church as an institution has always and will probably continue to make mistakes… my faith is not in an institution however… my faith is based on several morals, ethics, and beliefs about the world… those morals, ethics and beliefs match closely with those of the Catholic Church, the fact that humans within the church have sinned does not change the fact that I believe the teachings of the Church…. It does make me respect the institution less and I continue to pray and hope that some day the institution can better reflect the teachings of the church, but just because it doesn’t, doesn’t mean I will stop believing the things I believe….

-People whose non-religion is a religion…

There are people who are so anti-religious that they practically create a religion of their own… There ar people who preach and impose their non-religion just as much as a LDS or Jehova missionary knocking on your door. The funny thing is that one of the main complaints of these people is that religious people push their religion on them… while they are pushing their anti-religion on people in the same way….

-What would happen to the cows?

I totally respect educated vegans and vegetarians… I do not respect people who do it as a trend or don’t undertand why they are doing it… But just as a random question… What would happen to cows and chickens if we all became vegans?? Cows need to be milked or they die… cows could no longer survive in the wild… they would become extinct… or exist only in petting zoos… which doesn’t seem like a respectful way to live either…. I am all for only eating meat and dairy that you know was handled in humane ways…. to me that makes more sense since I like cows and don’t want them to dissapear…

-My fish…. who I ended up naming Bee… Is changing colors…. maybe I will post new pics in a few days.
-I took the fake plant out of his aquarium… it was fake so he probably didn’t like it too much and it just gave him less room to swim…
-A 12 hour scrapbooking crop can be very productive…. pictures of my new pages will be coming soon…
-Abbie is in Vegas for a job interview…. just might have to visit her often if she gets a job there!
-My dad and my mom both have birthdays in June… it is also fathers day soon… my dad is hard to shop for….
-I am fun
-It is warm
-”Spanglish” was an AMAZING movie…. definitly not what I expect from an Adam Sandler movie…
-Using bleach on your white clothes is amazing… getting it accidently on your non-white clothes is not….
-CLR works wonders in the bath tub….
-Jason is in London… I miss him more than I thought I would…
-It is hard to read my new Dean Koontz book because it is scary and I don’t have a J here… so I can only read it during daylight hours….
-It is warm….

UPDATE: When Abbie and her dad checked into their hotel… the person showing them around assumed they were married!!!! Too funny!!!!!!

So around 10:30 as I am in middle of an email with J, ready to get to bed…. the tornado sirens go off…. I grab tigger and look for the cat kenel…. he is always hard to catch because for some reason if you want to catch him he runs and hides…. but I got him right away…. I hear voices in the hallway so I go out and look…. two of my neighbors are out there talking…. we talk about where we should go. See there is this nice little windowless room between the apartments on the lower level of our complex…. but it is locked…. so a guy from next door said he was going to call the emergency number to see if someone would unlock it otherwise he said he would just break the handle… it is pretty flimsy…. so I go in to get Feeny so we can go downstairs eventually…. it becomes very clear to me I can’t hand a 23lbs cat without a kenel and a 10lbs cat with a kenel…. so I put feeny in a large duffle bag that I have…. and leave the zipper open a little…. Well Feeny poops in the bag!!! Thanks Feeny! Well it wasn’t looking good… two different storms… both with winds up to 70mph and rumors of tornados were combining basically over our head…. according to radar… Well the storm started to die down… besides some fantastic lightning and some intersting wind/rain patterns we made it through the night…. me and the neighbors kinda hung out in the hall together, ready to break down the door that no one came to unlock if it came to that….. Around 11:30 it seemed calm and we all headed back to our own apartments….

It seems family/friends up in WI had a similar night! Hope all is well up there!

First thing I am doing today when I have time is buying a kenel for Feeny!

So there was a special news report that interrupted normal programming… apparently there was a plane that they thought was hijacked… it was not allowed to enter US airspace… so hey, send it to Canada… It just seems wierd that we won’t put any of our airspace at risk but lets risk the wonderful little island of Nova Scotia… afterall who cares if they crash the plane into something there….

I could understand not allowing it back into New York city area or anywhere near DC…. but wouldn’t some area in Maine be just as good as Canada???? Why do we have to impose our possible hikackers on another country??

I just thought it was interesting… anyway… back to your normal broadcast…
