So Penny is home… she is playing way too much… I hope her stitches will be ok… I also wish I didn’t have to work so long today and keep them outside together without supervision for so long… but I have a few days off after this to start training Penny a little more.

My friend from work, the one who got me into the whole puppy mess… Just started a blog, so go give her some new blogger love…

Jason called this morning, things are going well in Germany… he is tired… So how long till August 6th??

People at work are thinking of starting a blog for work… Usually I would immediatly volunteer myself and Jason’s web skills… but this time I think I will sit back for a while… I have volunteered Jason for so many other projects… my parents sites, my old religious ed site, my new church site, he also does his parents, his reusume, my resume, Abbie’s resume, and Feeny’s Funhouse is still technically out there as well… I think there are some more too… but still thats enough projects for one person… If they want me to I might help them post on the site though…

So yesterday I drove Jason to Chicago… he is in Germany for a week then he is heading off to Africa…  He won’t be back until August 6th…

Today has been a little crazy… yesterday I discovered that Lucy chewed a hole in a wire on the AC outside… of course I discover this a few days after my dad left, who could have fixed it for free… But the heating and AC people were quick and it is fixed… I will be getting a bill for about $115 soon… yippy…

Other intersting happenings… my parents were here and Jason and my dad successfully installed ethernet throughout the whole house… AWESOME!!!  My dad also made it so our deck doesn’t wiggle and planted three trees… sure the dogs are digging up the trees and I don’t have time or money to fence them off yet… but ohwell…

Jason and I completely emptied out our old apartment… all that is left there is cleaning stuff… I have to go clean it all sometime before July 1st… All by myself… that won’t be fun but then we will be done with that place! We still have to pay rent for this month and the next… but if they rent it before the end of July we could get some of that money back…

Penny is a soft coated wheaten terrier… They are hearding and working dogs of Ireland… She is about 6 months old. She won’t get too much bigger… between 30-35lbs…

I work with someone who has two of this type of dog and is involved in the rescue organization for them… she told me they were getting two new foster puppies… I mentioned that Jason and I had been browsing and the rest is history.

She hasn’t been home for a few days now, she went back to the rescue place so she could get spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and all that… I am picking her up again tonight… She is a really big sweetheart… and already better behaved than Lucy…

So there might be a slighlty new addition to the family….   But Penny Lane and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds…. we are just working on a complete set…

Things I have been thinking I should blog about lately.

- Jason officially recieved his Master’s Degree this weekend…. He says I should call him Master now…. I laugh (and he says I don’t laugh at his jokes…)

- I am one of 10,000 finalists on the google DaVinci code quest…. Grand prize is trip to Paris and London for 4 plus tons of electronics… Doubt I will win it.

- Jason’s parents were here this last weekend… it was fun, I hope they had fun… Jason’s mom found a shoe store on the way home she didn’t have time to stop at… so now they have a good excuse to come again

-My parents come this weekend… Jason and my dad are going to try to wire for ethernet… should be interesting…

- Jason leaves for Africa… well Germany then Africa in like 10 days….

- Lucy graduates puppy school next week… training makes her sad… it is cute.

- Jason and I went to the humane society the other day… almost got another dog… we resisted though
