Good news:
Had a great visit home… Got to hang out with Abbie, visit my parents, see my dad’s plane, his cars and his hangar… Visit Jason’s parents…. went to a Packer game… found two Geocaches… Posted some new photos on Flickr

Bad news:
Wore new boots to the packer game, ended up with 2-3 inches worth of blisters on the ball of each foot… Came home to a wet basement carpet and a broken hot water heater.

Thanks to our amazing “landlords” (my parents) the hot water heater is up and running again and my feet are healing faster and better than expected….

… that isn’t going to cost me anything…

I have been interested in Geocaching since I heard about it back in my college days…  But I never could make myself interested enough to buy a GPS. Well since my parents got us one for a our car a while ago (and it has a battery and pedestrian mode) I decided to give it a try…

Jason and I didn’t have any luck finding the one close to our house… could be due to leaf coverage, could be because we are newbies… but this last Wednesday while Jason and Dan played tennis I gave the one that a friend of mine hid a shot and found it with no problem…

Here’s to a new hobby that is cheap and gets us outside for excersize… I imagine we won’t due many during the winter but I look forward to doing more next spring and summer…
