Here are my latest scrapbook creations… most of what I have explained underneath is written with the assumption that the reader knows some basic scrapbooking stuff… but if you are interested and have questions I will be more than happy to explain anything more in depth…

This is the Title page for my kitty album. It is a preprinted piece of cardstock with a blown up pic of the kitties. The first lett of every word is a metal eyelet letter that has the eyelet part cut off, the rest of the letter are rub-ons… I love rub-ons!

This is a page about Feeny and his monkey… nothing real special here… mostly just cardstock and pics. The title is done with my Sizzix shadow box alphabet….

This is a page about Tigger. He always plays with the camera cord so we always get some interesting close ups. Again mostly basic cardstock here. I cut the tag from my Sizzix tag die and the stickers are from a disney sticker set. The piece of vellum along the right side was bought preprinted and the title is done with rub-ons.

This is a page about Feeny and the things we make him wear. The title is printed (just from my printer) on a pattern piece of cardstock. The name Feeny is done mostly with rub-ons except the first letter which is a plastic letter. Behind the main picture on the left I crumpled and sanded the paper to draw attention to it…

This is an about the author page…. I am not a big fan of about the author pages but it was suggested as part of an album I am completing for class… I used my anywhere punch (eyelet punch) to make holes in different sizes in my cardstock. I then put patterned paper behind it to make the holes more interesting. I ran small sections of ribbon through the hole areas. Everything else is basic cardstock. I used some pop dots under the title to make it show up more.

This is the page I did for the song Jason wrote. It actually has a lot more to it than it seems. The first layer is a white piece of pattern paper that had music scales on it. Next is a piece of bright green vellum I got as a xmas gift from Mutti. Then is a piece of vellum with four different shades of green on it… this made the other vellum less bright and helped to make the pattern paper less bold. Under the last piece of vellum is also a printed piece of cardstock with the lyrics on it. The word love in the bottom left is from a printed piece of transperancy that I bought. For the CD case I took an old CD case from Jasons desk, covered it in patterned paper… added a flap and some circles that have an eyelet hole and a pop dot underneath them to create the closure….

UPDATE!! Pics are in the more section!

This is my page that introduces people to who did what in the wedding… I blurred names to protect the innocent

This is the page that caused so much distress… The blue is a piece of blue vellum over blue paper… as the pink is pink vellum over pink paper… Printing the words in the appropriate spaces and having my printer and microsoft word be happy with a 12 inch shet of vellum proved to be very challenging at times. The text which you can’t read in the picture is Jason’s version of how we met, started dating and his proposal… and the text on pink is my version…

This last page is one I did in a scrapbook class on color and design. It is about my trip to a boys school during my service trip in Jamaica.

The blue background paper is blue with a little glitter/shine to it. The light blue on the left is a very textured soft paper. I punched out circles for the embelishments and used a variety of different embellishments. I have seen this design done with the curve going towards the picture (like mine) or with the curve going towards the edge of the paper… I think it is a great design for a title page in a scrapbook since it is very condusive to one large picture… Any more questions about how I made it… Comment!
